## What to Write in Your Ad Copy
Before you write any ad copy, you need to know what you are trying to sell. If you don’t have a clear idea of what you want to sell, you won’t be able to write a good ad copy for your product.
The first thing to do is to think about what you sell. What is it that you want people to do when they see your ad? What do you want them to buy? Do they want to buy your product or service? Or do they just want to find out more about your product? If they are just looking for more information, they will not buy anything. However, if they are looking for a solution to a problem they have, then they will be more likely to buy what you have to offer them. So, what problem are you trying to solve for your potential customers? Once you know what problem you are solving for them, you can write a clear, concise ad copy to tell them how your product can help them solve their problem. This will make it easier for them to make a decision about whether or not to buy from you.
If you are selling a product or a service, you will need to tell people what your product is and what it does. You will also need to explain why they should buy it from you instead of from someone else. In other words, what is the difference between your product and the other products that are available? What makes your product better than the other ones? You need to make it clear to your potential customer that you have a better product than the competition. How are you going to do this? That’s what you will find out in this chapter.
When you are writing your ad, make sure that it is short and to the point. People do not have a lot of time to read your ad. They want to know if they should spend their money with you or not. Your ad should be no longer than two or three paragraphs. It should not be longer than that because people will not have the patience to read an ad that is too long. Also, if your ad is too short, it will not be very effective. A lot of people will just skim over it and not read it at all. When they read it, they may not even understand what it is that you are offering them.
Another thing to keep in mind is that your ad should have a headline. The headline is the most important part of your ad because it is what people will read first. Make sure that your headline is clear and concise. Don’t make it too long or too short. Just make it long enough to get people’s attention, but not so long that they can’t read it.
Your headline should tell people who you are and what you do. For example, if you are a web designer, your headline should say something like, “Web Designer Needed.” If your headline says something like “Web Designers Needed,” people will think you are not a professional web designer. Instead, you should say, “Need a Web Designer?” This way, people will know that you specialize in web design.
Make sure that the headline is something that people will want to click on. That means that it should be something that will make them want to read the rest of your copy. After they click on your headline, they are going to want to see what your ad has to say.
After you have written the headline, write the first paragraph. Write it as if you were talking to a friend. Tell your friend what you offer and why it is a good idea for your friend to buy it. Then, tell your friend why you are the best person to offer it to him or her. Give your friend all the information that he or she needs to know to make the right decision.
